Nature, holistic wellbeing, and sustainability are front and centre in our packaging redesign.
It’s not just you–our tea looks a bit different. We’ve reimagined the design for each box of our nature-inspired, organic tea. Inside, you can expect the same quality, taste, and wellbeing benefits but with a fresh standout design that we hope makes nabbing the right tea off the shelf an easier and more engaging experience. Here’s what you need to know.
Letting nature shine
The teacup on our boxes has been replaced by a bouquet of key botanicals that lets you see exactly what plants were used to craft that blend. “The true hero of the Yogi story is nature and the benefits it has to offer,” says Angela Reimer, Yogi’s global creative director. “We wanted to celebrate that and find a way to bring that to people.”

Not only are the ingredients illustrated in a colourful and clear way, but we’ve highlighted the tea’s name and introduced our new categories on the front of the box so that the tea’s functional benefit is easy to see. Looking for a restful bedtime blend or an immunity powerhouse? No more scanning the tea section for ages. These design changes are also being rolled out globally, so that no matter where you are, you’ll be able to easily pick up your favourite tea.
Making wellbeing accessible
Teas that fall under our new wellbeing category offer a flavourful, sensorial experience. That’s because rituals that spark small moments of happiness and delight are integral to overall wellbeing. “We want to share a more holistic experience of wellbeing,” says Reimer. “Joy is a part of health.” As always, there are no artificial colours or flavours in our teas. Whether it’s a tart and tangy note or a vibrant fuchsia hue, there’s nothing but nature in your cup.
Another way that we’re broadening our understanding of wellbeing with our new design is by swapping out yoga poses on the back of the box with a gentle suggestion on how to create a moment of joy, rest, or rejuvenation in your day. Yoga will always be an important part of our story and remains at the heart of what we do through community engagement. But we wanted to meet people wherever they are in their journey, and cultivating balance and health has less to do with mastering crow pose than it does with how you show up every day.
“Wellbeing is what you do with your time, it’s about the intentions you set, and it’s bigger than one way of doing things” says Reimer.

Reducing our environmental impact
Much like we view wellbeing as the culmination of all the small choices we make day-to-day, we consider our environmental impact at every level, right down to each tiny tea tag.
We’re constantly striving to make our packaging more sustainable, reducing waste and lightening our carbon footprint. We’re actively reducing the weight of our paper stock, which uses less paper and transport fuel overall, and reduces water and energy usage.
As always, our boxes have no plastic lining. One small improvement we’ve recently implemented that has a big impact is printing only one side of our tea tags in full colour. . This significantly reduces that amount of ink we’re using.
“All of these changes, from artwork to sustainable packaging, are meant to bring the wisdom of nature to our contributors.”
