This summer, Yogi is bringing wellbeing outdoors by partnering with Park Yoga on an event series grounded in nature.
We’re joining the UK-based charity at four of their outdoor yoga events from May to August 2026, starting in Poole this Sunday, May 17th. Participants will be able to flow through an all-levels yoga session surrounded by gardens and forest while learning about the health benefits of our nature-based teas–and enjoying a cup too, of course.
A partnership inspired by nature
This event series celebrates community and the transformative power of connecting to nature, values that Yogi and Park Yoga share. Rooted in Ayurveda, yoga is at the heart of who we are as a company, alongside crafting teas that harness the health benefits of plants. We’re excited to bring these elements together for our community while planting our feet in the grass, listening to the wind, and feeling the sun on our face.
“Both organisations are focused on health and mindfulness, with Park Yoga helping improve physical and mental wellbeing through free outdoor yoga, and Yogi’s philosophy being rooted in holistic wellness, emphasizing balance of body, mind, and spirit,” says Park Yoga director Cathi Farrer-Mitchell.

Why outdoor yoga is good for you
“Many yoga traditions emphasize harmony between people and nature, and outdoor sessions make that relationship tangible,” says Farrer-Mitchell. Yoga can support mindfulness and stress relief as well as having the potential to help us feel physically stronger. When we choose to practice outdoors, we get the additional benefits of being out in nature, which has repeatedly been shown to boost wellbeing.
Taking yoga outside the studio can be a way to deepen your practice. Being barefoot in the grass can feel grounding, and there is also opportunity to tune your attention into the sensory experience. Focusing on the scents of flowers and trees, the shifting light, and the feeling of the elements on your skin as you centre yourself in the moment can be meditative and calming.
If you’re new to yoga, joining an outdoor class might feel less formal or intimidating than a studio setting, and making wellness accessible is something we strive for at Yogi. In 2025, 31 percent of Park Yoga participants had never done yoga before, and this year the organization is striving to make that number higher. “Parks are a shared social space, and outdoor yoga often helps people connect with their community,” says Farrer-Mitchell. “Many of our participants have made friends for life at sessions and others have gone on to join sports teams together, as an example.”

What to expect at the event
This event series was developed as an invitation to practice outside wherever you’re at in your yoga journey. Just bring yourself and a thermos or mug to enjoy some hot tea after savasana. We’ll be sharing free tea samples, seeds to plant in your garden or balcony planters, and giving you a box of tea to take home. Plus, you’ll have the chance to win some tea prizes.
At each session, we’ll also be focusing on one of our favourite teas and its health benefits. A sustainability or Ayurvedic expert from the Yogi team will be on site to share the science-backed benefits and time-honoured knowledge that goes into crafting each blend. And if you simply want to enjoy being outside for a nature break, we’d love to see you there.
“There's nothing better than practicing yoga outdoors in nature, then enjoying a cuppa with friends,” says Farrer-Mitchell. Find one of our Park Yoga collaboration events near you.
